Look, Claire Foy seems to be a good actress, but this movie is a failure for several reasons already: 1. We need a sequel directed by Fincher's himself. With Mara and Craig in the leading roles. He brought a unique style to that movie. 2. The book that is based a upon is terrible and wasn't even written by the Millennium original writer. 3. No one will ever be so great as Rooney Mara or Noomi Rapace as Lisbeth Salander. Another failure Sony. Are you happy? EDIT: Just checked out. It is a sequel. But doesn't make any difference..
The Swedish films of Larsson's trilogy were the best, and Noomi Rapace is Lisbeth Salander - period. Mara was OK, but she didn't capture Lisbeth like Rapace did. Even the dragon tattooo on Claire Foy's back is not as good as the original one on Rapace's back.. Internet has become a new platform for B Grade stuff.
